Chief Technical Officer and Vice President of Engineering Bret Foreman, CTO and VP of Engineering
Withover 20 years of high-tech experience, Bret provides hands-on leadership and provides strategic direction for Green Wireless Systems. Previously, Bret held technical leadership positions at Unisys, Oracle, Cadence Design Systems and the UC Berkeley Wireless Networking Laboratory. At Oracle, Bret launched the Oracle Internet Data Center (OIDC) and the OraSim database optimization tool which is still being used today. Bret holds multiple patents, a Masters in Electrical
Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
Bret lives in the heart of San Francisco where he spends his spare time as an avid gourmet cook and a decent ballroom dancer. He relaxes at the end of the day with ashtanga yoga and goes hiking on the weekends with his dog, Sneaky Pete. Bret also holds a private pilots license.

Director of Finance Paul Maffei, Director of Finance
Paul has had several years of financial experience in all aspects of the banking industry. He has held several senior executive positions with US Trust (now Bank of America) and Citizens Financial Group. In addition Paul has been a consultant to Lynk Systems and the Royal Bank of Scotland. Paul has a BA from Clark University and a Masters from Rutgers University.
In his spare time Paul is an avid golfer.

Duane is a quality-oriented individual with flexible design skills, solid engineering experience, good team skills, and a passion for satisfying the customer. He has over 20 years of experience in the electronic and software design of embedded systems for field, laboratory, and handheld instrumentation. His design skills include digital, analog, data acquisition, and microprocessor based systems. He’s experienced in embedded software development using C and C++ and has developed several Windows applications using rapid development tools such as Borland’s C++ Builder and Microsoft’s Visual Basic. Duane holds a Bachelor’s of Science in electrical engineering from California State University, Northridge.

Mike has extensive programming experience at all levels of the software stack, from device drivers to sophisticated web interfaces. He is also an accomplished systems architect. He has experience working in a variety of environments, from startups to large corporations to independent consulting. He is a very creative thinker and has contributed many ideas and implementations to the open source community. Mike holds a Bachelor’s of Science in computer science from MIT.

Director of Creative Design Lina Ariana, Director of Creative Design
Since she was a child, Lina has found art to be an important foundation in life. Fortunately for her ( and green wireless systems, inc ), she followed her dreams and pursued a career in the creative arts. After working as a freelance artist [ clipt.net ] for several years, Lina found her way to San Francisco where she happily resides. In her spare time, Lina can be found reading graphic novels on muni, blindly blogging away the hours [ clipt.net/blog ], dancing the night away, and enjoying life to the fullest.
Lina holds an Associates degree in IT-Multimedia and is currently pursing a Bachelors degree in Interactive Media Design from the Art Institute of California, San Francisco.
